Porsche planning to open private Race Circuit in Shanghai
The German luxury car maker who’s been killing it here in China (25’000 Units sold in 2011) which is to become it’s largest market worldwide by 2014Â said it will build a private Track for Porsche owners in China.
It will be similar to Porsche’s own racing track in Leipzig so porsche drivers in China can also push their cars to go faster without breaking the 120 km/h limit by law.
Porsche has had incredible success in China, though sales come mainly from the uberpopular Cayenne and nowadays the Panamera sedan, it’s two seater sportscars like the 911 and Boxster have been slugging though, a track could be a great way to show drivers here, what’s in those babes!
When done, hopefully sometime in 2013, the FIA will be called to certify the track as real Formula 1 Material.
I’m looking forward to trying it! Go Porsche!
