The 458 Special Edition Ferrari Italia is not only a celebration of the Dragon Year but also it’s been exactly 20 years since Ferrari entered and brought it’s first ride to China.

The Car will have 570 horsepower and besides an amazing leather interior with gold plated elements it will also feature real gold rims, Ferrari went into great detail to show it’s about china, all instructions and even the engine start button are in chinese.
So are all 20 taken already? No, I heard at the Ferrari Party yesterday that you’ll have to fill certain requirements to get one of these or just have the connections, this is china after all.

The Tushek Renovatio T500 (Terminator anyone?) could arguably be one of slovenias sexiest exports.
This Brand New supercar is not only aesthetically pleasing, it’s also got a whole lot of power under the hood.
This super leight weight (1090 kilos only, thanks to it’s complete carbon composite body) goes 0-100 km/h in less than 3.7 seconds and 200 km/h in just 11.5 seconds.

It features a removable hard top, adjustable seats in length, carbon ceramic brakes, power steering, beautiful interior with leather and slight carbon touches here and there, plus power brakes and  an adjustable carbon-fiber rear wing.

Even though McLaren didn’t have an official presence at this years Geneva Auto Exhibition it still managed to steal the show in numerous ways.
It was featured by some of the industries finest tuners, and check out what they came up with here.

Stuttgart based tuner Gemballa who was responsible for the Mirage GT revealed their GT package for the MP4-12C.

The package features a sleek body kit that includes a wider front bumper/spoiler, side skirts, rear apron and a small rear wing. Of course custom made 20 (in front) 21 (rear) inch alloy rims are a must.
The twin-turbo 3.8 liter V8 engine produces 608hp.

And from another german tuning power house we get the Hamann memoR (written this way, seriously).
The tuning specialists got endless buzz for the extremes they went into to tune the MP4-12C
Their goal was to reduce the concave surfaces, include and add F1 essential features, adapt the GT3 elements both in beauty and functionality.
The body kit includes a large front splitter, wheel arch-forced ventilation, wider side skirts, a roof air duct as well as an extended rear diffuser and a larger rearwing.
It’s probably got the sexiest rear end I’ve seen in a while .

From the various tuners, Mansory probably put up my favorite Mc Laren design.
Their McLaren MP4-12C package has created an amazing allrounder.
They’re Mc Laren got a 62hp bump, and the new wings make it 60mm wider, the whole body kit also includes new 20 inch set of rims too.

Only 88 Cars (who would have guessed?) are going to be made for the chinese market, and buyers will be offered to choose from three different interior color sets for the Aston Martin’s, Volcano Red which represents a dragons’ fire,
Amethyst Red which represents wealth and prosperity (where would we go without that in China?) as well as peace and protection and Sparkling Gold Champagne to mirror the dragons status, power and esteem along with wealth and fortune.

Aston Martin’s been a slow starter in China, is this going to take things around for them?

Porsche has had incredible success in China, though sales come mainly from the uberpopular Cayenne and nowadays the Panamera sedan, it’s two seater sportscars like the 911 and Boxster have been slugging though, a track could be a great way to show drivers here, what’s in those babes!

When done, hopefully sometime in 2013, the FIA will be called to certify the track as real Formula 1 Material.

Jamie Lynn Sigel from the Soprano’s cruises around in her Range Rover, the trunk of any other would have probably been to small .

The Baby Ride
Justin Bieber with his Westcoast Customs (remember pimp my ride?)  pimped out Cadillac CTS-V got pulled over.
It would have been pretty badass, without the batman logo.

Paris Hilton did it first, then Nicky Minaj, and nowadays, I must have seen at least two or three in Shanghai already.

El Phenomenon Ronaldo, one of the greatest football players of all time rides an Audi A8 of course, what else?

I came across this interesting piece of fact, which I guess most of us knew already, on the Luxury Insider and L.A. Times.
China now according to Lamborghini, Rolls Royce and Bentley was the largest and most profitable market for all of these brands in 2011.

And Rolls Royce just recently revealed it’s Year of the Dragon special Edition Phantom Model for a whopping 1.6 Million US Dollars, tailored for the chinese collectors market.

You know the wealth has shifted, when it makes sense to market to Rolls Royce “collectors” in China.
